He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Jean (Powell); his brother Forest; and his parents, George Robert Prater and Laura Bell (Comerford). He is survived by: his children, Rod, Terry and Laura (Corns). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
