It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Miguel Paredes of Salinas, California, born in San Diego, California, who passed away on July 8, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Nellie Paredes; his sons, Michael Joseph Paredes and Rudy Anthony Paredes; and his siblings, Kitty Chavez, Fannie Lugo, Mary Ramirez and José Maria Paredes.

He is survived by: his wife Rosa Maria Gaeta Paredes; his children, Delia Paredes Alvarado (Frank) and Robert Carlos Paredes (Annette); his stepchildren, Bibiana and Luis Miguel; and his sister Juanita Tovar. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
