He is survived by: his friend Salinas; his children, Melvin Jackson (Linda), Angie Ortiz, Gloria Ortiz (Troy Gachett) and Micaela Ortiz (Tony Landa); his son-in-law Jose "Pepe" Flores; and his grandchildren, Damian Jackson, Daniel Jackson (Ida), Rita Salas of Rudy Salas, JR., Regina Salas (Ernesto), Rachelle Salas (Chris), Michael Ortiz (Xochitll), Andrea Gachett (William), Demetris Gachett, Antoinette Gachett, Nicole Landa, Jessica Landa (Ashley), Raymond Flores (Merissa), Robert Flores (Lorie), Brenda Flores and Richard Flores. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
