Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Suyehiko Don Ikeda (Salinas, California), who passed away at the age of 90, on April 22, 2022. He was predeceased by: his parents, Yeizo Ikeda and Satsu Ikeda; his wife Joyce Yamane; and his siblings, Atsuko (Jack Obata), Isamu (Yoshiko), Hiroshi and Kunio.
He is survived by: his children, Dean, Sheri Minamide (Jeffrey), Gary and Dave (Shizuka); his grandchildren, Jordan, Neil, Sage and Kylie; and his sister-in-law Irene Yamane. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would request that donations be made in Memory of Don to either the Buddhist Temple of Salinas or to Hartnell Athletics – Hartnell Foundation.
