He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sweeney and Mary Lou Sweeney; and his siblings, Bernadette Sweeney, Mary Francis Sweeney and Joseph Sweeney.
He is survived by: his sister Ann Philbin; and his sibling's children, Monica Dacpano, Maria Arroyo, Fidel "Eddie" Arroyo (Kasandra), Vince Arroyo and Jeremy Philbin. He is also survived by five grandnieces and three grandnephews.
