She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Thornton and Mary Nadine Thornton (McDaniel); and her siblings, Mary Dean Hiscox, Trevor Edward Thornton, Ida Hinds and Janice Ann Matthews. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lockart-Green Funeral Home (302 W Main St, Shelbyville, IL 62565). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
