She was predeceased by: her parents, Gabina Grimes and Pedro Lara; her siblings, Fernando Lara, Eleanor Calleros and Josephine Sullivan (Rexford Patterson); her sons, Thomas, Ski Laskowski and Robert Ramirez; and her grandson Daniel Gutierrez Jr..

She is survived by: her brother George Fleming; and her children, Lydia Laskowski, Richard Villa (Esther), Genevieve Villa-Alvarez, Louise Ramirez, David Villa (Linda) and Emilia Rex (Gregory). She is also survived by several loving grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
