She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Merrill and Louise Merrill (Kremmer); her brother Montie Merrill; her sister-in-law Dorothy Merrill; and her nephew Gary Merrill.
She is survived by: her nephews, Mike Merrill of Cole Camp, Missouri, David Merrill of Warsaw, Missouri and Scott Merrill (Teresa) of Westfield, Indiana; her niece-in-law Cheryl Merrill of Sheridan, Indiana.; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Joshua Merrill (Brittany), Brock Merrill, Erin Macy (Travis), Lindsey Martin (Ryan), Ashley Myers (Arley), Tia Guzman (David) and Makayla Merrill; and her family, Julie, Dale Dunlap, Kevin, Christina Warren, Evangeline Iler (Scott), Charles Pagaduan (Annette), Elizabeth Milanovich (Dragan), Nelson "Jack" Pagaduan (Kathleen) and Florence Pagaduan (Brandon Wood).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Norton Air Force Base Museum, honoring Charlene's deep connection to the base where she faithfully served.
