He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hellwig and Mary Hellwig. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his children, Anne (Sam), Eileen (Scott), Edward (Kelly) and Alex (Andrea); his grandchildren, Emma Stennick, Sophie, Jane Oldham, Adam, Evan, Max Hellwig, Alexa and Thomas Irvani; and his siblings, Mary Beth and Mark.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral (2525 N Arrowhead Ave, San Bernardino, CA 92401).
