Though Lewis may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lewis touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Becky Avera; his children, Anne Shepperd, David Avera, Lane Carr and Lila Goodman; and his stepsons, Brent and Bryan Feathers. He is also survived by grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Southern California Hospice Foundation, "Heavenly Home" (socalhospicefoundation.org), who provided such loving, and attentive care during his final days.
