He was predeceased by: his parents, Bishop E. J. and Clara Taylor; his daughter Alicia Kay (Lisa); his former wife Ida V. Davis; and his brother Ike (Dorothy).
He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Robinson and Jean Tease; his children, Lorri Taylor, Cynthia Jordan (Carlton), Cheryle Bridges (Gerald), Alden Taylor Jr. and Trenton Taylor; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Bryce, Alysha, Jazmin, Cabrea, Ashley and Taylor. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Anderson~ragsdale Chapel (5050 Federal Blvd, San Diego, CA 92102). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
