We announce the death of Andrea Suzanne Jackson in San Diego, California, who passed away on October 10, 2026, at the age of 47. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert L. Plunkett and Mary Eleene Walton Race. She is survived by: her friend Jason Jackson; her adoptive father Floyd Race (Toni) of Taylorsville, Kentucky; her fiancé Matthew Kelsay; and her siblings, Tina Ramey (Mike) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Denise Jeffries (Eric) of Alexandria, Kentucky, Jennifer Jones (Dusty) of Erlanger, Kentucky, Amanda Dunn (Chris) of Union, Kentucky, Becky Armstrong (Sean) of Shreveport, Louisiana, Nathan Race (Lisa) of Union, Kentucky, Eric Race of Latonia, Kentucky, Beth Butler (Mark) of Independence, Kentucky, Amy Hamilton of Springfield, Missouri and Robert Plunkett (Amber) of Conway. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Association, in honor and memory of Andrea's mother, Mary, or to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
