He is survived by: his father James Maturani; his brother Rocky Maturani; his wife Susan Maturani (Susie); his son Tony Maturani Jr. (Tiffany Maturani); his grandchildren, Stacy Maturani Denison (Jason Denison), Taelar Maturani Oberg (Connor), Austin Denison, April Denison, Hudson Maturani and Amelia Maturani; his great grandchildren, Ryder Oberg and Walker Oberg; and his sister Anita Williams (Tom). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and many lifelong friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Miramar National Cemetery (5795 Nobel Dr, San Diego, CA 92122). A reception will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Country Club (12280 Greens East Rd, San Diego, CA 92128).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, honoring Tony's memory and supporting others in their battles against cancer.
