She was predeceased by: her father Harold Cowley; her husband Sal; and her siblings, David, Donna and Phyllis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sonna Curran (Mike) and Shana Martinez (Eric); and her grandchildren, Jake, Taylor Curran, Tori and Carli Martinez. She is also survived by her daughters, grandchildren, family, and many friends.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the El Camino Memorial (5600 Carroll Canyon Rd, San Diego, CA 92121). A committal service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the El Camino Memorial Park (5600 Carroll Canyon Rd, San Diego, CA 92121).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Carol's memory to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or AMVETS.
