He is survived by: his children, Jill, Dwight Burch, Cindie and Ray Johnson; his grandchildren, Zachary Burch, Rachel, Tyler Wilson, Heather, Trevor McKenna and Ray Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Madison Burch and Fia Wilson.

A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be sent to the San Diego Coast Guard or the funeral home in memorium of Darrell.
