He was predeceased by: his parents, H. D. Trigg and Mary Irene Sellers. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Christine Cole (John) and Michael Trigg (Channa); his grandchildren, Mandy, Sarah and Tory Cole; and his sisters, Diana Black (Don) and Susan Trigg.
