She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Bley Burton and Ann Marie Cryan Burton; her spouse F. Newman "Bergie" Bergen; and her brother John Paul Burton. She is survived by: her daughters, Joanne, Margo and Teresa Bergen; her sister Nancy; her siblings-in-law, David Demorest and Jan Widmer; her sibling's children, Barbara Burton, Julia Demorest, Paul and Tim Demorest; her great-nephews, Ian Beppler, Liam and Kellen Demorest; and her caregiver Kim Streeter. She is also survived by her three daughters, sister, other relatives and friends.
She requested donations to two favorite charities—the Saint Agnes Catholic Church Mission Circle and Lions, Tigers and Bears animal sanctuary—in lieu of flowers.
