He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Hanson and Della Hanson; his siblings, Elaine, Kevin Norman, Donna, Warren Buchner and Beverly Hanson; and his grandson Dylan Schultze.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Symon Hanson; his daughters, Abby Schultze and Kristin (Terry Fry); his stepson Hamilton Arendsen (Anne Cane); and his grandchildren, Sydney Fry (Jonathan Halscher) of Olivia Fry, RJ and Sammy Arendsen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
