It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grant James Behnke (San Diego, California), who passed away on September 13, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his daughters, Angela, Teresa and Gretchen; his son-in-law Daryll; and his grandchildren, Jazmyn, Parker, Dustin, Garret and Cassandra.

He began his career as a high school math teacher and later served as the Director of Testing and Evaluation services, where he made lasting contributions to educational standards.
