He was predeceased by: his former wife Annabel Halpern Schnall; his sister Judith Somerstein; and his parent Mentor. He is survived by: his children, Linda Schnall Singer and Steven Schnall; his wife Andrea Lambert; and his grandchildren, Michael Singer, Andrew Singer, Megan Singer Mayer, David Schnall and Shai Schnall.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Alzheimer's San Diego or Lightbridge Hospice.
