Imelda Mrowka passed away peacefully on December 21, 2024, in San Diego, California. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend who touched countless lives with her kindness and dedication.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Tom; her children, Sammi and Allison; her parents, Alicia and Humberto Hernandez; and her sisters, Griselda, Olga, and Laura. Imelda's warmth and dedication touched the lives of many throughout her 32-year career as a caring nurse. Her compassion and commitment to helping others left a lasting impact on those she served.
Imelda found joy in gardening, traveling, and participating in Bible study with family and friends. These activities brought her peace and strengthened the bonds she shared with her loved ones.
Imelda's warmth, faith, and love for those around her will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her. May her legacy of kindness and devotion continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
A memorial service to honor Imelda's life will be held on January 8th at Glen Abbey Memorial Park, Orchid Pavilion in Bonita, California. Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., with burial immediately afterward from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
