He is survived by: his wife Leola Cannady; his children, Leverne (Evelyn), Pamela (Clarence) and Anthony; his grandchildren, Queenisha Quinetta Diamond Cannady, Christopher Dejon Cannady, Kevin Valle, Essence Shonte Cannady, Darrick Alexander Cannady, Charity Joy Brown, Justin Alexander Brown and Christian Clarence Brown; his great grandchildren, Taniiyah Bernice Diamond Guess, Armonni Leola E'Shay Cannady, Tavon Leverne Elijah Cannady, Kiamen Robinson and Jahkai Cannady; and his siblings, Wesalean Campbell (MS), Clara Neal (MS), Yvonne Green (LA), Mary Givens (WS), Doris Hill (TX), Roy Cannady (UH), Mattie "Pat" Norris (OH), Dori Adams (WS), Erving Cannady Jr. (TX), Danny Cannady (TX), Clyde Cannady (TX) and Roger Cannady (TX). He is also survived by cousins, nephews, nieces, friends.
