With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Theodore Seaman (San Diego, California), born in Houghton, Michigan, who passed away on November 18, 2024 at the age of 105. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wyllys Arthur Seaman and Vera Williams Seaman; his siblings, Bill Seaman and Jeanne Seaman Farnum; his brother-in-law Larry Farnum; and his stepdaughter Mary Walter Tafoya.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Walter Seaman; his brother Arthur Seaman; his daughters, Katherine Perez and Jean Anderson (Larry); his grandchildren, Craig Anderson, Tony Perez, David Anderson, Sandra Perez, Lisa Santelli, Jason Perez and Luke Perez; his great grandchildren, Andrew Santelli, Samuel Anderson, Bennett Anderson, Elinor Anderson, Aiden Santelli and Graham Anderson; and his great great grandchild Eliana Rose Santelli.
The family requests no flowers. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum at Michigan Tech, Houghton, Michigan.
