He was predeceased by: his parents, Hermelinda Aguilar and Pedro Cañedo. He is survived by: his wife Licha; and his children, Mario Cañedo (Patty), Selma McKinney (Tom) and Laura Hogan (Drew). He is also survived by grandchildren, six (6) great-grandchildren and his half-sister.
The military honors will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM and from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Miramar National Cemetery (5795 Nobel Dr, San Diego, CA 92122).
