He is survived by: his parents, Don Deetjen and Mary Deetjen; his wife Karla Deetjen; his children, Tyler Deetjen (Marie), Bradley Deetjen (Alda) and Janelle Fitzsimons (Alec); and his grandchildren, Tyler, Marisel, Greyson, Kensley, Isla and Marcos.
