Norma Cline Obituary

Norma Davis Funkhouser Cline of San Diego, CA, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2019, in the presence of her loving daughter Debra, who had been caring for her during a prolonged illness. Norma was born on March 16, 1937, in Johnstown, PA. She was a graduate of Brownsville Area High School (1954) and West Virginia Wesleyan College (1958).

She was a woman of faith who truly loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Norma had a youthful personality and a wonderful sense of humor. She had so much enthusiasm for life and enjoyed exploring new things. Her beautiful spirit made an impression on everyone who came into contact with her. She was an extremely talented pianist, but she also composed music, painted, wrote poetry, was certified in Reiki, and loved to travel with her family.

She taught piano for many years and loved her students like family. Norma is survived by 3 children: Debra Funkhouser (Jeff Waldman) of San Diego, CA, Kristen Alexander of Wilmington, DE, and Erik Funkhouser (Vivian) of Beaver Falls, PA, and 3 grandchildren: Benjamin Alexander, and Melody and Caelan Funkhouser. Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Linda (Jantz) Davis and Dalton Davis, her brother Leonard Davis, and sister in-law Claire (Pauley) Davis. (posted 04/19/19).
