He is survived by: his wife Marcelina (Celie); his children, Neil Pontanares (Melinda) and Rena Chen (Brian); his grandchildren, Marc, Shine, Jeremiah, Heaven, Isaac Pontanares, Elijah, Ariana, Marcelina (Marlie), Xavier Chen, Kayla Newton (Tyler Newton), Christian and Aaron Pontanares; his great grandchildren, Havyn, Camyron and Mila; and his siblings, Benilda (Serafin) and Lucio Pontanares (Eleanor). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
