He was predeceased by : his parents, Willie Simpson and Geneva Simpson; his wife Vera Simpson; his son Antoine Simpson; and his siblings, Willie Simpson Jr., Walter Simpson, Geneva Naomi and Barbara Jean.

He is survived by : his siblings, Joyce Roberson (Cincinnati) and Richard L Simpson Sr. (Dolores) of Winchester.

A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Preferred Cremation and Burial Chapel (6406 University Ave, San Diego, CA 92115).
