Salvatore Valentino Costa Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Salvatore Valentino Costa of San Diego, California, born in Boston, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 14, 2025 at the age of 96. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Costa and Ida Costa. He is survived by: his siblings, Grace and Charles; his family, Life While and Theresa Marie McAlice; his sister Virginia Doering; his children, Theresa Ray, Frank Costa (Jan) and Carol Nix (Mike); his grandchildren, Bryan Nix (Dara), Jamie Price (Sean), Tony Nix (Christa), Danielle Costa and Nick Costa; and his great grandchildren, Ryan, Harrison, Madison, Brayden, Paxton and Nolan.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Clairemont Mortuary (4266 Mt Abernathy Ave, San Diego, CA 92117). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Catherine Laboure Catholic Church (4124 Mt Abraham Ave, San Diego, CA 92111-3112). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the El Camino Memorial Park (5600 Carroll Canyon Rd, San Diego, CA 92121).
