We are sad to announce that on April 14, 2023, at the age of 28, Slade Michael Ferris of San Diego, California, born in Zanesville, Ohio passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Slade Michael Ferris to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Linda "Mimi" Shields, Jerry Lee Ferris and Florence Ann Ferris (Gibson); his uncle Jeff "Buddy" Ferris; and his pet Catch.

He is survived by : his parents, Tonya Morrison (Jeff Bates) and Bryce Ferris (Traci); his close friend Ariq Roth of San Diego; his siblings, Makenzie Ferris of Newark and Brayden Morrison of Zanesville; his grandfather David Shields (Jan Nuzzo); his aunts, Wendy Roush (Bill), Stacy Ross (Clay) and Jody Clark of Zanesville; his uncle Jody Shields (Ashley); and his cousins, Mason, Eli, Cooper Roush, Braxton, Bexley Shields, David, Austin, Garrett Ross, Jessica, Jeremy, Jordan Morgareidge and Brittany Clark.

Memorial contributions may be made directly to the San Diego Zoo in Slades memory.
