He was predeceased by: his parent Irish; his wife Dorothy Rose Lydon; and his daughter Denise. He is survived by: his children, Tom, Terry, Mark, Neil, Michele and Michael. He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren; and his 6 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the San Rafael Catholic Church (17252 Bernardo Center Dr, San Diego, CA 92128). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Parish Hall. The military honors will be held on Friday, January 30th 2026 at the Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery.
