We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Toshiko Morikawa of San Diego, California. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. Though Toshiko may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Toshiko touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her husband Kazuhiko Morikawa; her daughters, Susan Hunt (Mark) of South Carolina and June Gorzelanski (Jim) of San Diego; her grandchildren, Taylor, Lauren Hunt, Nathan and Nicholas Gorzelanski; and her son Danny Hawkins.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM and from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Clairemont Mortuary (4266 Mt Abernathy Ave, San Diego, CA 92117). A burial will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at the El Camino Memorial – Sorrento Valley (5600 Carroll Canyon Rd, San Diego, CA 92121).
