With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carlos A. Alvarez of San Francisco, California, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lupe Ybarra and Francisco Alvarez; and his brother Frank Enrique Alvarez. He is survived by: his wife Anne; his children, David and Julia; and his siblings, Sylvia, Alex and Luis.
