She is survived by: her husband Chester Lee; her children, Gloria (Chris Wilder), Roland, Howard (Stephanie) and Carol; her grandchildren, Samuel, Maxwell Wilder, Jennifer (Jonathan Wong), Cynthia (Richard Sung), Monica Lee, Connor, Karah and Marie Lee; her great grandchildren, Joshua, Logan Wong and Madeline Sung; and her siblings, Walter, Edwin and Rose Hum.
Carol later suffered from Alzheimer's which gradually took away her memory and functioning.
