We are sad to announce that, on March 2, 2026, at the age of 94, Cecilio Echamendi of San Francisco, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jose Mari, Miguel and Blanca Esther. He is survived by: his wife Maria Mercedes; his children, Mónica Barry (Tim) and Albert Echamendi (Nichole); his grandsons, Marcus Barry (Jen) and Greg Barry (McKenzie); his siblings, Isidro Echamendi and Maria Jesus Urrutia; and his nieces and nephews, Maria, Miguel, Cristina and Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's in Cecilio's memory.
