As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Christopher Socrates may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alexander Cassimus and Patricia Cassimus; his wife Lindsay; and his daughters, Sophia and Alexandra.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (999 Brotherhood Way, San Francisco, CA 94132).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Gold Cane Family Foundation, which provides scholarships to first-generation college students, a cause close to Chris's heart (1569 Haight Street, San Francisco, CA 94117).
