Daniel Jackson Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel Jackson of San Francisco, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 14, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Jackson and Nelda Jackson; and his father-in-law Jay Patel. He is survived by: his wife Nita Patel; his children, Maya Jackson and Devon Jackson; his sisters, Tammy Wilson, Danae Fisher, Ariel Brown, Tanya Collins (Tyler Padgett), Kelsey Padget, Alyssa Padgett, Teri Lindsay (Jake Lindsay) and Jerilyn Malone; his mother-in-law Varsha Patel; and his siblings-in-law, Bela Patel and Neil Patel.

Once a pool shark, Dan enjoyed teaching Devon how to play pool during Covid (as well as beating him).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to UCSF Medical Research Sarcoidosis Fund[8] (fund code: B3225).
