It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Edward Guloien of San Francisco, California, born in Willmar, Minnesota, who passed away on June 10, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Hansel Guloien and Luverne Roche Guloien; his son David Edward Guloien Jr.; and his sisters, Jean Guloien and Mary Guloien Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Mitchell Guloien of Emporium; his children, Jeanmare Holjencin (Tom) of Charleston and Eirik Guloien (Brittany) of Sumter; his grandchildren, Lucie, Amelia, Sally Holjencin, Kynkade and Beau Guloien; and his sisters, Karin Ehli (Jim) and Christine Zander (Ken) of Dickinson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in memory of Dave Guloien to Emmanuel Episcopal Church and Barbara Moscato Brown Memorial Library in Emporium, PA.
