He is survived by: his son Mike Smith of Las Vegas; his stepbrother Gary Johns of Sacramento; his nieces, Leisa Reed, Jacque Davis of Yuba City, Lori Reed of Marysville and Andrea Johnson-Kumar of Sacramento; his nephew Kevin Reed of Marysville; Surranjan Kumar. He is also survived by grandchildren; and several great nieces and nephews.
