We announce the death of Hanan A. Abu-Nassar in San Francisco, California, who passed away on September 9, 2026, at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her son Sami Abu-Nassar; her parents, Albert Mazbar and Antoinette Mazbar; and her sisters, Najwa Ghnaim (Nabeeh) and Jeeda Seikaly (Munir) of Amman, Jordan..

She is survived by: her son Samer Abu-Nassar; her siblings, Sami, Rajae and Samia Mazbar; and her nieces and nephews, Randa (Joseph), Linda, Kathryn (Wesam), Janette (Andra), Reja (Celina), Lauren (Chad), Amy (Walid), Myrna (Ibrahim), Suha, Karim (Rama) and Nina.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Duggan's Serra Mortuary (500 Westlake Ave, Daly City, CA 94014). A rosary was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greek Orthodox Memorial Park (1148 El Camino Real, Colma, CA 94014).
