Claypool Jr. of San Francisco, California, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on November 24, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James H. Claypool and Corine Claypool; his wife Mary; his siblings, Ronnie, Barbara, Joyce and Sarah; his daughters, Brandi and Charlotte; his stepdaughter Janine; and his grandchildren, Brittany and Brandon Nia.

Worked for the City of Seaside for 32 years, served on the Community Foundation Board, Seaside/Sand City Chamber, CHISPA and Monterey Bay Blues Festival Board.
