He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas E. Hughes Sr. and Mary Agnes Collett Hughes; and his siblings, Helen Erickson Rifenburgh of Johnsonville, NY., Francis Hughes of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Thomas E. Hughes, Jr. of Troy, NY and Rosemary Erickson Rifenburgh. He was also cherished by nephews and nieces, grandnieces and grandnephews.
He donated to charities to feed and school children in the Philippines.
