We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2025, at the age of 79, Katherine Ellis Montserrat (San Francisco, California), born in Roseburg, Oregon passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jack; her parents, Alfred Nelson "Stretch" and Mary Jane "Ginger" Howard; and her siblings, Paddy Jane, John and Tim.
She is survived by: her daughters, Paddy Naughton (Dan), Karen Byrne (Bob) and Janey Yakas (Pete); her grandchildren, Emily, Claire Naughton, Jack, Robbie Byrne, Christopher and Aiden Yakas; and her siblings, Judy Niciewski and Barry Howard. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the Saint Gabriel Church (2559 40th Ave, San Francisco, CA 94116). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
