“From David Turner: Ken and I were friends for 63 years, we first met in the 7th grade at Presidio Jr. High. Soon we were part of an extended friendship group and a little league baseball team. Our friendship group included Ken Matsuoka, myself, Noah Griffin, Ken Bardizian, Maurice Chesler, Henry Ong, Phil Judge, Stan Spinrad, Ted Alper, Alton West, Al Lemaire, Francis Oka, Alfred Tsacle and I’m sure I’ve forgotten some. “My name is Steve York and I am emailing from Okemos, Mi. Betty I am devastated to hear about Kenny as he was one of my best friends for 40 years along with you of course. I had great golfing, gambling trips to Ken in Lake Tahoe, Reno and Las Vegas, besides trout fishing in the Sierras with him. Betty you and Ken always showed me great hospitality when visiting and house sitting for your dogs. Thank you for everything! I am shedding a tear now and then but I think of the great times the most.”
