We are sad to announce that, on September 15, 2020, at the age of 84, Mara Balanesi Amato (San Francisco, California) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mara Balanesi Amato to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Pietro Balanesi and Iva Balanesi. She is survived by: her husband Cosmo; her children, Michael (Mara), Yvonne (Joseph) and Angela (Howard); her grandchildren, Melissa (Drew), Rachel, Jessica, Christopher, Rebecca, Kevin, Nicholas and Mia; and her siblings, Pola (Bob), Rosanna (Jess) and Sandra (Lou).

Because of Covid restrictions, a memorial service will be held privately for immediate family only.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saints Peter & Paul School, the Salesian Boys' & Girls' Club, or the YMI in her honor.
