It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Patrick Derner (San Francisco, California), who passed away on March 17, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jane Dubuque and James Dubuque; his sibling Thomas Derner; his aunt Betty Dubuque; his cousin Jeff Dubuque; his nephew Tommy; and his niece Danielle Derner.
He studied Work Life Skills at SFSU and went on to work at Esther's and Wendy's. During the pandemic he officially retired after 30 years of service at Goodwill on Clement Street.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Janet Pomeroy Center, CPMC Pediatric Cardiology, or CPMC Neonatal ICU.
