He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Henry W. Maly and Ethyl Ryan Maly; and his wife Mary Jo Fanning. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Maly Lindgren (J. Stanley Lindgren) of Radnor, PA and Edward W. Maly (Hilary E. Old) of Brooklyn, NY; and his grandchildren, John McDonough Lindgren, Anne Maly Lindgren and Lansing Edward Maly. He is also survived by four nieces and five nephews.
