With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susan Wartell of San Francisco, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 30, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Susan farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Susan is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Jeffrey Wartell (Kelly Bourke), Julie Wartell (Ken Rogel) and David Wartell (Mitra Mavaddat); her grandsons, Dempsey Wartell, Buddy Wartell (Danielle Polevoi) and Isaiah Wartell; her great grandchild Nathan Wartell; and her sisters, Diane Gladstone (Paul Gladstone) and Madeleine Bertolino. She was also cherished by two nieces and three nephews, numerous friends.
