It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theodore Wheat Barlow formerly of San Francisco, California, born in Treadwell, New York, who passed away on June 27, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Karin Friberg Barlow; his parents, Harry Barlow and Marion Wheat Barlow; his children, Bill (Inger) of Oberlin, Ohio, Steve of Torrington, Wayne (Christine) of Fairlee, Vt., Greta Passeri (Doug) of Pine Plains, N. Y. and Nancy of Manchester; his grandchildren, Anna (William), Kristen, Ryan (Alex), Samantha (Bismark), Kaitlyn (Danny) and Tanner; his great grandchildren, Will, Oliver, Lena and Theodore; and his sisters, Betty Schluep, Margaret Sluiter and Dot Brown. He was also cherished by 15 nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations are suggested to FISH, 332 S. Main St., or the Operation Overflow homeless shelter, c/o Trinity Episcopal Church, 220 Prospect St., both in Torrington.
