She was predeceased by: her great-grandparents, Vovó (Jack), Audrey (Mason), Luciana, Maryn and Adalyn (Trevor); her parents, Loretta Fernandes and Ernest Fernandes; and her brothers, Norman and Walter Fernandes.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Soares; her children, Linda Mertes and Glenn Soares; her children-in-law, Ron Mertes and Stefani Soares; her grandchildren, Vovó, Michael, Stephen, Joseph, Timothy, Dominic, Maria and John; and her grandchildren-in-law, Katie, Rachel, Erin and Nohemi. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
